Become a Speaker at the PMI Puget Sound Chapter
PMI Puget Sound Chapter would like to invite you to come speak at one of our chapter events! We are looking for speakers who will promote and enable professional and educational development via the following:
- Integrate BIPOC project management professionals into the Puget Sound and overall US project management circles.
- Provide the opportunity for hiring managers and project managers to connect with foreign PMs into their project management organizations.
- Allow mid- and late-career project managers the opportunity and confidence to pivot in their career paths.
A few sample questions to consider answering,
- What can PMs learn and how should they best market their skillsets in order to get hired by US companies?
- What should a PM consider when reviewing a CV that includes a four-year project management degree from a foreign university?
- What are the best practices to consider differences in work culture for a recent hire from outside the US?
- Which software platforms outside of MS Project should they learn?
- What new skillsets or certifications would be beneficial to have?
