WHAT'S A PMO?
A project management office (PMO) is an internal or external team that oversees project management initiatives and standards across an organization. Think of them as the glue that keeps everything together! While every PMO is unique, they typically have control over resources, workloads, teams, reporting, and the project portfolio management process. In many instances, different types of PMOs can help overcome recurring challenges or hurdles within your organization.

ABOUT ZACK:

Zack Hernandez is currently the Market Director at Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company. Yoh Seattle is a Technology consulting & recruiting firm local to Bellevue and part of the multi-billion dollar Day & Zimmermann Government and Professional services organization. The Yoh Seattle team specializes in Project Leadership, Application Development, Infrastructure/Cloud & other niche areas under the CTO/CIO umbrella.

 

Zack graduated from Columbia University in New York City and captained their D1 wrestling team. Along the way, a Columbia Alum & ex-Wrestler introduced Zack to the recruiting and consulting world on Wall Street. The rest is history. While in NYC, he focused on providing IT and Finance talent for tier-1 hedge funds and investment banks. In 2016, Zack founded AEP, a Hawaii management consulting business on the Columbia University campus and moved west to Seattle.

 

Zack’s first stop in Seattle was at one of the Top 25 largest Recruiting firms in the nation: Addison Group, under the CVPartners brand. He rose to Director and rapidly grew the firm's new client portfolio as a managing producer running the Seattle consulting practice.
