Turn Strategy into Action - Workshop with Terry Schmidt ( 1 day)
Invest a day to learn and apply a powerful planning/action tool and a step-by-step process to successfully tackle your biggest problems, projects, issues, and opportunities of all types.
This hands-on workshop features a strategic approach that is missing from conventional Project Management methods. The Logical Framework approach integrates key concepts from Strategic Planning, Project Management, Team-building, and the Scientific Method into a practical system that adds exceptional value in virtually any setting. The common language, simple steps, and Logical Framework of organizing this flexible system enable your team to:
• Get everyone on the same page and focused on the same Objectives
• Eliminate project–stopping problems in advance
• Clarify success measures in advance to reduce finger-pointing and blame
• Overcome the frustration, wasted time and false starts of initial project planning and execution
• Build a committed team with clear plans that everyone believes in and follows
You’ll start by learning core concepts through real-world case studies. Then you’ll apply these concepts to your own project. So bring along a real project, problem, opportunity or performance issue to work on, and you’ll walk away with a ready-to-use implementation roadmap that brings clarity and focus.
Come alone or better yet, bring some team members, so you share this methodology. The bottom line: Your projects will start smoother, and reach their goals faster, with fewer problems along the way. Participants will receive extensive handouts and a library of application examples.
